Non-attendance and late arrivals to appointments
We understand that life can be unpredictable but attending your appointments or letting us know if you can’t make it is very important.
Appointments are always in high demand and missed or late appointments mean that other patients miss out on the care they need. If you can’t attend, please cancel as early as possible so we can offer that time slot to someone else.
To ensure fairness and smooth operation, we have a clear policy regarding missed appointments (Did Not Arrive, or DNA), late cancellations, and lateness. Please take a moment to read this policy below and understand how it works.

We have implemented this policy to help encourage attendance at all appointments, ensure we are maximising our effectiveness, and using our time wisely to see the patients who need us most. We understand that everyone likes to have appointments available when they need them, and this process will help speed up wait times so you can see a doctor more quickly when you want to.
You can help us improve appointment wait times by either attending your appointment, or letting us know ahead of time if you can’t make it – ideally at least 3 hours ahead.
If you have any questions about this policy, please call our friendly reception team on 09 550 2146.
